The Crossfyre foundation is committed to making each design freely available across the world in as many languages as we can support.

We crossfyre team consist of diverse groups of people who,
• are urban professionals working in the area of rural technology development and dissemination. Our emphasis remains on productivity improvement and livelihood diversification, with a strong focus on the people-connect of the technologies.
• are current farmers, who have joined efforts in ecology-sensitive agriculture in rural areas. The focus of such farming is on traditional crops, small-scale energy efficient devices and solutions for small and marginal farmers.
• remain connected to rural areas where we grew up, but have moved away currently. Intermittant visits and having friends/family in rural areas, keep us rooted to enable local innovation/fabrication for rural livelihoods.
• are team members of Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG) at IIT Madras. RuTAG has been enabling development of technology solutions for rural stakeholders through a need-based identification process. RuTAG team members are engaged in Crossfyre with a belief to embark on a dream to enable innovation/fabrication, next to the location where need has been identified.
• are innovators and fabricators from rural areas, who are interested in providing local solutions for livelihood and efficiency improvements for rural agricultural and non-agricultural requirements.
